2026 Departure Strategy

Severance & Trailing Nexus

The physical move is only the beginning. High-tax jurisdictions utilize trailing nexus audits to claw back liquidity events occurring post-departure. We document your ‘intent to remain’ and sever the critical digital and social ties that trigger the residency trap.

Nexus Defense & IP Backhauling

Defending your landing is paramount. From Austin IP-backhauling risks and the new FinCEN real estate rules to Idaho’s ‘Telecommuting Nexus,’ we ensure your new domicile survives 2026 audit telemetry. Don’t let structure gaps void your tax advantage.

The Ashburn Interconnect: 70% Global IP Gravity

Forensic traffic analysis confirms a significant shift toward the Northern Virginia tech corridor. For the high-net-worth founder, Ashburn is no longer a destination—it is the digital foundation.

🚨 REGIONAL ALERT: The Virginia Interconnect (April 2026)

The Ashburn Advantage: > Forensic data confirms Ashburn, VA remains the undisputed “Data Backbone” of the Eastern Seaboard—handling 70% of global IP traffic. For tech-heavy entities exiting Canada, Ashburn is the optimal transitory or terminal hub, offering unmatched latency and proximity to the D.C. policy corridor.

The April 21 Forensic Marker: > We are closely monitoring the April 21 Special Election. This constitutional referendum regarding redistricting authority is a “Tipping Point” for Virginia’s economic climate. A shift in the General Assembly’s map-drawing power could redefine the state’s fiscal trajectory for the next decade.

Strategic Insight: > For those “kicking the tires” from New York or Toronto, Virginia is currently a High-Utility Transitory Zone. Whether it becomes your permanent “Fortress” depends on the legislative fallout of the April 21st vote. We architect your move to be modular—ensuring your assets are positioned for the cloud today, while remaining mobile for the policy shifts of tomorrow.

A Message from the Managing Director

For thirty years, I navigated the world of institutional banking—from the high-velocity “branch startups” of Toronto to the corporate credit engines of New York and Dallas. I saw the global plumbing of finance from the inside of UBS, Barclays, and BayernLB. But I also saw what was missing: The Human Architecture.

In the world of Schedule II and III banking, I listened to the same complaints for fifteen years. I watched brilliant founders with exceptional ideas fail—not because they lacked vision, but because they lacked the structural scaffolding to support it. They had the “MBA vision” but lacked the “CPA vigilance” to bridge the gap between a great idea and a resilient, tax-compliant, audit-ready reality.

Arizzon Capital was born from a desire to shed those shackles.

My “walk of life” has taken me from the high-velocity data-heavy integration of fifteen insurance entities in Hamilton, Bermuda, to the dusty streets of Nogales, Sonora, on Rotary evolving into Canadian experience as Treasurer with the Knights of Columbus and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. These experiences taught me a singular truth: Trust is the only currency that mitigates reputational risk.

Bridging the gap between theory and the high-stakes reality of the Sunbelt, I’ve augmented thirty years of institutional banking with Executive Development at the Kellogg School of Management, focusing on the mechanics of Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Finance. This allows me to architect your exit using the same strategic global framework used by world-class institutions.

Whether you are navigating the USMCA trade corridor or mapping a strategic alphanumeric exit in the increasingly complex Sunbelt landscape, you deserve a partner who sees your blindspots before they become liabilities. I don’t just offer accounting; I offer a decade of “lessons learned” from the projects that failed and the grit of someone who understands that a business plan without accountability is just a dream.

I am here to be the strategic anchor for your mission. Let’s build something that lasts.

Executive Overview

Achieve Strategic Control Over Complex Growth

In the high-velocity corridors of the Sunbelt and the USMCA trade zone, momentum without institutional structure is a significant liability. Rapid expansion and jurisdictional shifts often outpace the underlying financial scaffolding, creating “structural atrophy” that devalues a legacy just as it nears its peak. We partner with founders and multi-national entities to install the C-Suite operational controls and banking rigor required to stabilize growth and safeguard reputational risk.

Leveraging thirty years of institutional credit experience—from the offshore complexities of Bermuda to the industrial hubs of the South—we provide the alphanumeric clarity required for absolute control. Whether you are navigating a California-to-Texas transition, a Massachusetts wealth tax shift, or preparing for a landmark institutional exit, our systemic approach ensures your financial architecture is as resilient as the vision that built it.

  • The Nexus Audit: Identifying the specific triggers that allow California and Massachusetts to claim “Trailing Nexus” on assets after you have physically re-domiciled.

  • Entity Scaffolding: Why standard LLC structures from the West Coast often become “brittle” under the legal and tax frameworks of the Sunbelt and USMCA trade zones.

  • Reputational De-risking: Navigating the alphanumeric transition without alerting institutional competitors or destabilizing banking relationships.

The Systemic Suite:
Strategic Control for Complex Growth

Beyond Advisory: Providing the operational rigor required to turn Sunbelt momentum into predictable, scalable legacy.

We partner with leaders seeking to organize, prepare, and deploy stability—from a startup seeking its first funding round to a multinational optimizing its global structure:

  • Pillar 1: Predictable, Scalable Profit. Turn alphanumeric complexity into consistent, measurable profitability at every stage of the lifecycle.
  • Pillar 2: Systemic Scaffolding. Deploying M&A-level operational control rooted in C-Suite rigor, ensuring long-term value whether for legacy or high-value transition.
  • Pillar 3: USMCA Regional Expertise. Leverage deep Tri-National expertise (US, Canada, Mexico) to simplify complex, multi-jurisdictional compliance and cross-border reporting.
